Swung by here late one night not long before the posted closing hours and half-expected to be turned away, but we were welcomed insidr & waited on without any hesitation.
Our server was quick without rushing anyone, and he was able to juggle multiple parties as the night was winding down. The salsa was not my cup of tea, but the large dinner portions & casual dining area were spot on. The fajitas poblanas ended up being my favorite dish. Parking was pretty limited, but we were able to find street parking. -

Worst service, mediocre food, maybe source for food poisoning.
Decided to try something new, walked in to find no receptionist and after waiting a few minutes decided to seat ourselves. After watching several staff walk around and completely bypass our table we eventually flagged someone down to get our drinks. The waiter got the drinks correct on the second attempt and the soda cans provided had to have the garbage cleaned off them before we felt comfortable opening them and pouring or drinks. Some time passes and he eventually returned to take our order. Most of our table ordered simple tacos, none of which were delivered correctly. At this point we were too hungry to make corrections and wait another half hour for our food. The food itself was not all that bad but I wouldn't call it good either. We eventually got salsa after asking for it, what came out looked like Campbell's tomato soup with pepper seeds mixed in, it didn't taste much better. We had to go retrieve our own check and eventually paid and left, they got more than they deserved. We never received silverware, napkins, chips etc. and we had to get our own menus. It's been about 15 minutes since we left and my stomach is very upset, my mouth is salivating like I am about to vomit, yet I hate to vomit so I have managed to hold it down for now. My wife is suffering the same fate.
A -1 star review would be more appropriate but I can't give any less. A visit by the world health organization or maybe center for disease control may be warranted. -

Seriously some of the worse food I've ever had. Came across this restaurant when in Brenham and thought how bad could it be? Let's see. There were several flies that wouldn't stay off our table to start with. The salsa was so watered down and tasteless that it didn't even have a color ok the chip. The tortilla chips were scorched and tasted awful. It took forever but when we got the food the refried beans were so watery you could not pick them up on a fork. It was like soup. $35 for a subpar meal. Needless to say we will not be going back

We stopped here as we were driving through Brenham because of the good reviews here on yelp. I'm not sure if it's usually good and today it's not? but the beef fajitas were bland and very tough to the point our jaws hurt after one taco. The chips were stale and burnt? Like, they tasted like burnt popcorn.
The waiter was nice.
Would not recommend.
Also, very limited parking. -

This place is amazing! I was in town visiting friends from school & was craving a good margarita. I hadn't been here since I was in my teens, so I had to try it out! Uh mazing and oh so satisfying is all I can say! Then I tried a Michelada with Dos X...it was pretty good too, but I had to go back to my margarita because I'm more of that type of drinker.
I ordered the fried pickles to start, cause who knew a Mexican restaurant served those! I was not disappointed at all! They were pretty tasty! I ordered the Carne Asada which comes with a skirt steak, one beef enchilada, refried beans & pico de gallo. I ordered this because I don't eat rice & was intrigued that this plate didn't come with it. This also did not let me down, although next time, I will be getting just enchiladas because I wanted more than just one.
The staff was so kind and attentive! They treated everyone that walked through that door like family! My friends & I enjoyed every moment we were there. We laughed and talked and had an absolute wonderful time, that we did not even realize we were the last ones there.
The only downside of this place, are the hours. Besides that, I definitely recommend this place!
